October brings a lot of variety into the Carolina’s and the things to do outside. One of the most popular in NC is fly fishing for trout & the state has helped promote this with the Delayed Harvest program. This program that requires release of caught trout between October and the first Saturday of June has helped new and veteran fly anglers get to closer streams and enjoying catching brook, rainbow & brown trout. IT has also helped Jesse Brown’s with promoting the sport of fly fishing.
