Recent graduates of the 2025 Youth Fishing Summer Camp!
Weddington Farm & Charlotte Country Day School
Jesse Brown’s recently concluded the annual Youth Fishing Summer Camp. Students from the surrounding community learned all about fly fishing in partnership with Charlotte Country Day School at the local Weddington Farm.
This is the second year of classes for the Camp. One week in June & one week in July has been immensely popular for the attendees. Rising grades 5th through 9th descend on the Farm to learn the intricacies of fly fishing.
Participants learned in the classroom & through hands-on experience about:
- Casting
- Knots & Rigging
- Fly Art
- Physics
- Biology
- Conservation
- And More!
There are upcoming classes for adult including the Small Mouth Fly Fishing Course on August 13th and 16th. You can learn more about it here.
Thank you to partner Charlotte Country Day School, instructors Elijah & Ryley, Morning Glory Farm, and these fantastic students for making it a great week with Jesse Brown’s!
