Hopefully you were able to tune in to WBT Saturday morning for the latest installment of the Carolina Outdoors show. If you were still snoozing or already in the great outdoors you can check out our podcast at WBT.com. I got to host Saturday’s show with Don Yager which gave us the opportunity to chat about our common interests including fly fishing and shotgun shooting. We discussed everything from delayed harvest fishing which starts up in the next month to float fishing the popular East TN rivers and the ever popular subject the Catawba river tailrace. Shotgun shooting was also on the menu, with the weather starting to change and the likelihood of a blue bird day has given many people including Don and myself the itch to get out and bust some clays. If you are interested in picking up shotgun shooting this is the show for you. Don and I cover the different types of shooting games, hunting and how to get started for the less experienced. Check us out and don’t forget to listen in on next Saturday’s show which air’s at 5-6AM on 1110 WBT, and if you miss it remember the podcast is available on WBT.com. -Wilson
