Jesse Brown’s has spent the past fifty-four years celebrating the stories that our clients create outdoors & in life. This was the inspiration for Storyteller’s Night at Jesse Brown’s. For over ten years, this event has been one of our favorite times to get-together with the community within the walls of Charlotte’s outdoor store.

Helen Verkamp has travelled the world. However, she doesn’t just stay in a resort, cruise ship, or lodge. She immerses into the food, language, & culture as much as she can to learn about people. You’ll enjoy her tales & exploits & hopefully be motivated to seek out your own adventure. Her Story: Tribal Adventures
Chris Franks married into a large, Charlotte family. His outdoor adventures fit right into their love of travel. However, who advocates for you & your family when something goes wrong? Chris tells his tale of growing up in Mississippi, moving to Charlotte, & taking his “in-law” place of legend during a trip to Guatemala. His Story: South in South America
Keith Richardson has made a name for himself in tennis across the Carolinas. This father, husband, granddad enjoys participating in the community, fly fishing, & he still plays a mean game of tennis. He travelled the world as a professional player. In fact, he is in five different Hall of Fames because of tennis but that’s not all he took away from the sport. We’ll learn what else with his Story: Game. Set. Tehran
