There are dreams we dream.
There are dreams we defer.
There are dreams that really do come true.
I have ,for all of those years, walked away ….thinking:
“Ya’ll have fun!”
“Ya’ll have fun!”
There are times when another person holds the key that will
enable another’s dream to come true.
enable another’s dream to come true.
I found myself, some months ago ,at, yet again, another one
of Macon’s talks….but this talk was different. The crowd was
different. The folk were funny, fun, and I hate to actually say
this, but they were my age. ( yes, 29…again!!~!!)

I left that talk thinking…gosh…maybe I should really
make this dream come true! These people will make
a difference. These people are special.

The group of which I speak : The Rotary Club members.
The more I learn of their community and world efforts, the
more I am in awe. What an amazing group! I am so very
pleased to have been able to join them in some training…..
course, one of them…he knows who he is…took me on a
treacherous hike one day…omg….I was on all fours at one
point, crawling across this mountain. He was, I know, shaking
his head, thinking:”This poor woman….and she is going to
Kilimanjaro?”

So, this time; with that key, the door to my dream was opened
and I , amazingly enough, walked through.

I am packing right this minute (okay, I’m taking a break.)
It’s kind of mind boggling ..this packing…”Do I need this?”
” Is this too much?” Why am I taking that?” ” Should I have
bought this or that?” “Will this thing work?” All of the questions
are coming to my mind!! It is, I think, nerve racking.
