A few weeks ago (& last year, too); the jesse brown blog introduced the travel of two sisters that were knocking around Wales and Ireland.
Well, 2011 brings the travelling pair back to Europe with Travels around England. Check out these smartphone blurbs and photos from Windy & Peggy (or is it Peggy & Windy)…………………
-This Bayard quay had two ships of Calvinist leave from Dartmouth. Both were named for wildflowers we saw on our hike. The Speedwell had to turn back due to leaks. Sophie Newbury. had ancestors on the Mayflower which arrived after 66 days at sea with 100 people.
-I love my buff.
(WOW…….THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK TO JESSE BROWN’S)
-I have sent more photos. I cannot find your blog On your web page.
Today was a great hike. I like my new buff. Every one is asking me about it (GET IT AT JESSE BROWN’S)
It was cold hiking yesterday and today with high winds. The buff felt great on my head. I want to buy one for karen, our leader.
-Windy crossing on a stile in a JB buff.
-Monday hike Cliffs, Combes, and stately Homes. We hiked up and down the cliffs. The valleys are combes. We hiked down to this beach to eat our lunch then up this side. See the path. All day we went up and down. Love, Windy
-It was hard hike today but beautiful along the cliffs on the east toward France . We stopped in on the National Coastwatch station. They are all volunteeers like Clover Firemen. This Dartmouth is where D Day trained and Armada and the Mayflower. Queen E met Prince Phillip here when she was 13 and he was a cadet at the Naval Academy.
